Today, we started learning about the life of a chicken. Our classroom incubator has 7 eggs that Mrs. Anish collected from Lake Meadow Natural Farm on 4/11/2017. The white eggs are white California eggs and the brown are Buff Orpington eggs. Farmer Dale told me that one of the white eggs may be an Ameraucana Rooster.Check out this chart on how a chicken develops inside the egg.

This is a fascinating video. It makes us think how this could happen? Who engineered this. We almost eat egg and chickens everyday. However, we rarely reflect on the magnificent creation of our Lord.

I have a homemade incubator that I made out of a box and a light filled at the bottom with eggs from my chickens and ducks bc I didnt want to buy chicks this year .. I check the eggs with a light and I see the chicks forming inside... We never did this in school and I just feel like its such an amazing thing to witness. Its no small occurrence at all. There are lots of amazing things and wonders in the world but watching something like this take place just seems so much more special.. It really does point to a creator.
